How to Accessorize Big Boobs
With a Necklace

So, how to accessorize big boobs? The most obvious method is a necklace but I will also discuss earrings and handbags on another page. This page therefore also raises the question, of what are the best necklaces for big busts?

The best necklaces for Big BustsThe Best Necklaces for Big Busts

You may be skeptical but since you will probably be already using these accessories, why not ensure you are getting the optimum look.

Since I am a Brit I should also write how to 'accessorise big boobs', as we spell it with an S not a Z, just in case people are searching with a different spelling.

So please forgive me if I alternate between the English and American spellings as I occasionally confuse myself.

The Best Necklaces for Big Busts

First and foremost ladies with an ample bust certainly can wear necklaces. Knowing how to accessorize big boobs is important. It is usually considered that a statement necklace can effectively draw attention away from the bust line.

Of course the onlooker may move back to your breasts but you have already achieved a significant victory.

Clearly what clothes you wear will have the majority of the impact but why spoil all the work you have done by unncessarily wearing a necklace which highlights your bust.

So this page, how to accessorise big boobs with a necklace is as much about what not to wear as to how it is worn.

By it's very nature jewellery is meant to provide a little pizazz. Sometimes gently adding a little style and sometimes boldly attracting attention.

If their attention is first drawn to the necklace and away from your chest, that critical first chain of thoughts has started ticking away in their minds and significantly, it is not to do with your breasts.

However if the jewellery draws the eye to your bust, then you have possibly spoilt all the effort you have made in wearing clothes that suit your body type.

Necklace Sweetspot

There is an optimum point for the pendant or bottom of the necklace to be positioned which jewellers call the necklace sweetspot

Jewellers, who let's face it know a thing or two about how to wear jewellery, will tell you there is an optimum point for the pendant or bottom of the necklace - a "sweet spot". This is the optimum point as to where the necklace should be positioned.

It does of course vary from woman to woman but it is probably higher than you might imagine. The necklace sweetspot is usually sited about two to four inches below the base of the neck. The lady in the white tee shirt above has it about perfect.

In the picture above the lady in the white tee shirt has got it right. A 'high' necklace, frames the face, breaks up the torso / chest and takes the eye to it. You will see how literally eye catching a necklace is. The picture at the top of the page illustrates the same principle.

In the picture on the above right. It is the fact that the pendant hangs down onto the cleavage and draws the eye to it. There are a list of more No, No's below and to the right.

Remember, you can do what you want to do. I am simply trying to illustrate how to wear a necklace with big boobs, if you want to try and reduce the attention on your breasts.

The best necklaces for big busts. Surely I am joking? I mean a necklace just goes around your neck right? Well yes and no. Of course it does go around your neck but there is far more to it than that. In fact this seemingly innocuous issue is really important.

The best necklace for a big bust

Big chunky necklaces, or 'statement' jewellery works well for ladies with bounteous boobage. It draws the eye. Why? Well it is simply larger than small delicate jewellery and hence is easier to spot. Yes I know obvious eh? But sometimes we all need to be reminded of the simple things.

This is something you need to try out for yourself. It is strange but I find women intuitively know where the best location is. To be certain, ask other people. Of course this only normally works on necklines that are sufficiently lower than the sweetspot itself.

How to Accessorize Big Boobs - DO NOTs:

(1) Have the necklace dangling down so it sits in your cleavage.

The last thing you need is something attractive bringing the onlookers eye down into your cleavage.

Avoid a necklace or pendat in your cleavage unless you want even more attention than normal

(2) A necklace that is so long that it sits on the bust, like it is sitting on a shelf. It adds bulk.

Also if it is so long it wraps around one of your breasts.

A necklace resting on your breasts makes your bust look like a tea tray

(3) Jewellery that follows the slope of your breasts. You certainly do not want a necklace that juts over your bust and then dangles in fresh air.

Knowing how to accessorize big boobs actually means knowing how to draw attention away from your breasts.

We can actually learn a lot from women who want people to look at their breasts

How to Accessorise Big Boobs - DO's:

  • Do Hit the sweetspot!
  • Big, glitzy or chunky necklaces work well. Why? Small dainty jewellery can look minute in contrast to your big bust and just serve to emphasize the difference. Bigger jewellery is also more obvious and catches the eye more readily and generally we want to draw the eye away from the boobs.
  • A string of necklaces also seems to work well. When we accessorize big boobs we want to minimise their impact and a number of necklaces hanging together creates a strong visual image which attracts the eye.
  • Do Hang it above the point at which the boobs start to swell out. Therefore if you are high breasted, or even if your breast shape is full at the top you may need to adjust the length accordingly.
  • If you are showing some cleavage; 'round' necklaces are a good choice as 'V neck' necklaces draw the eye down. In fact coordinating with the neckline is incredibly important.

As you can see the key issue in how to accessorize big boobs with a necklace is primarily wear the necklace sits, as opposed to what the necklace actually looks like.

It is commonly considered chunky necklaces work well on big breasted women as they draw the ete

However, it is generally considered that chunky necklaces work well on big breasts. So next time you are considering what to wear with your outfit you may well want to give the bigger baubles a try. That is not to say you should not wear whatever you fancy, I just want to explain the most recommended choice.

Of course it also depends on what you are wearing. Big chunky costume jewellery may not work with an elegant evening gown.

One piece of advice I have heard is the ‘rule of thumb’. A necklace should hang at least a thumb’s width above, or below, the neckline of your top. I am not convinced by this rule of thumb advice because there are so many exceptions but judge for yourself.

In the two examples above it does seem to work and any trick we can use to accessorize big boobs to the optimum, has got to be worth trying.

Necks Are Elegant

The fact is that necks are often little mentioned but a very elegant part of your body. A necklace that brings attention to the neck will accentuate your femininity. In this instance, how to accessorize actually means how to accentuate a neck.

Now here is a lass that knows a thing or too about elegance

The necklace also serves to frame your neck, drawing the eye up your neck to your face.

Necklaces go hand in glove with necklines and so if you have not already, you really need to look at the section necklines for big busts. There are good and bad styles for a well endowed lady but one general theme is to generally avoid high necklines.

As you will see below, a necklace which coordinates with a neckline is not so much a way to accessorize big boobs as simply a classy look.

Margaret Thatcher shows how to wear a necklace above a blouse
Svetlana Medvedeva keeps her pearl necklace high

However, if you intend to wear a high neckline dress I will briefly discuss how to accessorise that. The ideal is for the necklace to sit on the sweetspot but often on a high neckline the sweetspot is below the line so that the chain might catch on the neckline, ot at least not sit smoothly.

You therefore have two choices; you can either have a very short chain so the necklace is above the neckline.

Or hang the chain on top of your dress, shirt or top and hang just below it. As you can see in the examples above, both can look good.

Actually the main rule with necklaces is that, there are no real rules. The above is merely guidance. I have always thought a woman's choice of jewellery is very personal and you should stick with that.

Like all clothing choices, the occasion is probably most important in dictating how you judge the level of modesty required, or 'sexiness' you can achieve.

If you wish to glam it up, be a little more risqué, wear a favourite piece, family heirloom or recently received present by all means do so. You will not be breaking any 'rules'. Women generally almost intuitively know how to accessorize so go with your instincts.

It may not seem important but since you are likely to be wearing a necklace and other jewellery it it is worth sparing a moment to think how best to accessorize big boobs. As you can see it is not so much the necklace itself, it is more how you wear it.

Did you like this page, did you learn something, maybe it reinforced you own views? I want to give as much (hopefully helpful) advice to the busty sisterhood as I can.

Please remember, we are all different. You may like to wear certain clothes and styles which I am suggesting that you should not. That is your absolute right. Do what makes you feel good. This site undeniably goes for the more modest approach because I feel all busty ladies already know how to be more racy if they wish.

It would really help me improve the site profile if you would click the Facebook 'Like' button. Pretty please! Susan

3 x Do Nots

The key issue in the concept of how to accessorize big boobs is not so much the necklace itself, it is how to wear it.

A necklace hanging down into the cleavage literally points the way. Fine if you are proud of your boobs but something to avoid if you are not seeking attentionIn the Cleavage

(1) You generally do not want to draw the eye down into your cleavage (as above).

Although this lady clearly does not suffer from any hang ups about attention; you may prefer to avoid that.

(2) Equally you do not want to have the pendant sitting in your bust as that is the point the eye will be immediately drawn to.

Again, if you are proud of your bust like Salma Hayek and do not mind, or even actively want, attention then this is the way to go about it.

(3) A long necklace can 'over-hang' a large bust. Which may draw the logical conclusion in the viewer's mind, that there is a lot of bust to overhang.

Why draw unnecessary attention, if you would rather not?

Below is another good example of an overhang on a busty lady, the actress Salma Hayek. She is wearing a long necklace which overhangs her bust. If you would like to see more on her style choices - click the link Salma Hayek pictures.

As you can see, it really accentuates the curve over her bust.

Wearing a necklace at the optimum point is the most important issue. We all tend to buy or be given necklaces and simply leave them at the length they came.

Please see the article to the left for a better explanation.

Is it worth having the length changed? It is a bit of a pain in the butt and possibly involve a cost you could do without but it is worth making the effort to change it.

Theresa May understands where a necklace should hangUK Politician - Theresa May

Why, well if you think of the necklaces you do not wear because they do not seem to 'hang' right you will have the answer. Clothes that sit unworn in a wardrobe or closet only serve to annoy. They are taking up space you could utilise but you are loathe to chuck them because they were expensive.

It is the same with necklaces. If you do not wear them, they are pointless. Go on, invest in an improvement. If you want to accessorize big boobs in the most flattering manner, these little issues should not be avoided.
